Finish Line

Unbelievable, but i have finished painting 3 battalions of Lizardmen!
Next step is to flock them, build moving trays, and write fluff for them.
In addition, i want to build and paint Kroq Gar now.

The last kits

I know it has been a while since I have last posted, but that is because i have been surprisingly active painting my lizzies.
now all the skinks are painted. all the saurus warriors are painted. all the character models are painting. I am currently on the cold one riders and then 3000 pts of lizzies in 9 months are done. I still need to base them and generate fluff for them for the Baltimore GT.

Saurus Warriors 2

Just finished my first batch of saurus warriors. Over all, the models are better than i expected but my painting algorithm and color scheme did not turn out as i expected. It is too late really to change my color scheme but the painting algorithm will be changed.

For my next batch, I will start as below:
1. Eyes = bad moon yellow
2. Skin = bronzed flesh
3. Scales & teeth= bone
4. Wash: a mix of 9 part water, 1 part blue, 0.5 part yellow
5. Mouth & feathers: magenta
6. Leather: snake bite
7. Wood: scorched brown
8. Weapon: brass
9. Jewelry: bronze
10: standard: burnish gold

there is something wrong with the washing step. maybe it is too dilute. i do not know.

Finally finished all my skinks, all 71 of them. Over all it took more time priming and assembling them than actual painting them. At least it seems that way. Not perfect, but i think they turned out alright. Now on to the Saurus. I will have to modify my inking of them i think.

Skinks Blows

This weekend I finished painting 20 skinks with blow pipes. I tried inking them and it did not work out as i expected, not bab, just not expected. I will take a picture and post it as soon as i can. Overall, it went faster than expected. Now onto skinks with javelins.
